Asset refinance involves using the value tied up in an asset you already own as security against a new finance facility. The lender advances you a percentage of the asset's value, which you repay over an agreed term. You retain use of the asset throughout.

We can refinance most business assets with a residual value, including commercial vehicles and HGVs, construction and plant machinery, manufacturing equipment, agricultural machinery, and in some cases commercial property.

The amount available depends on the current market value of the asset. Typically lenders will advance between 70–90% of the asset's current value, though this varies by asset type and lender.
